NCLT hosts a monthly seminar on topics relating to nanoscale science and engineering (NSE), education of NSE and new learning technologies. These seminars are disseminated across the country to educators, scientists and their students. NCLT seminars are designed to provide cross-fertilization between educators and researchers in nanoscale science and engineering education (NSEE). NCLT seminars are held on first Thursdays of each month.

10:30AM-11:30AM (PDT)  11:30AM-12:30PM (MDT)
12:30PM-1:30PM (CDT)  1:30PM-2:30PM (EDT)

Future seminars will be listed as soon as they become available.

There are 3 ways to view NCLT Seminars.


(1) Video conference (H.323/H.320)

If you wish to participate via video conference, please contact your campus IT facilities and then send your campus video conference support contact to: nclt@northwestern.edu. The system must be tested with NU one week prior to the seminar.

(2) Live Videoconference Streaming

  1. Enter Sign-in name
  2. Enter Conference ID 50075885 (default ID)
  3. Leave PIN empty
  4. Choose Streaming rate
  5. (Optional) Select more options from "show advanced streaming options"
  6. Click Stream this conference | User Manual

(3) Video conferencing with Breeze Meeting

  1. In "Enter as a guest" box, click "Click to Enter";
  2. Enter your name, click "Enter Room".

    Note: your browser must have Flash Player installed.
